GrandCare can also send emails, and text notifications to family caregivers and professional care takers regarding certain programed events (e.g. didn’t get out of bed, didn’t take blood pressure reading, failed to open the fridge at mealtime, etc.)

GrandCare allows multiple access levels and keeps both personal and wellness information secure. Caregivers simply log onto the Care Portal from any internet-connected device with their username and password. All communication between the touchscreen and the care portal takes place using a virtual private network. Health data is encrypted and stored on the system in the home.
