GeniCan easily installs into your kitchen garbage can and/or recycle bin making it easy for you to add items to your grocery list automatically. How?  By simply scanning the items bar code past the GeniCan bar code reader as you dispose of the item in your garbage/recycle bin.

You might be wondering what if GeniCan does not recognize a barcode? Well, GeniCan will ask “What may I add to your list?” You simply tell GeniCan the item you would like to add to your shopping list and GeniCan will do the rest.

GeniCan will only add items to your grocery list that have been purposefully scanned or added via voice recognition. If you simply toss an item into your garbage can or recycle bin GeniCan will not add it to your shopping list.
