MedMinder is , a pill dispenser that reminds the user to take their medications via a series of optional visual and/or auditory alerts that can be setup to occur in 30-minute intervals. First the compartment will flash, then the pill dispenser will beep, then the user will receive a phone reminder. If the user still has not taken their medications, then all his or her caregivers will be notified via phone, email and/or text message. Of course, if the medications are taken on time, there will be no reminders or notifications.

MedMinder is available in four different versions allowing you the caregiver and the care recipient to choose the one that best suits the needs of your parent or loved one. All MedMinder pill dispensers are monthly rentals. More than just a pill dispenser, MedMinder with the push of a button will open a two-way voice channel with the medical alert professionals at the UL certified monitoring center. There is no need for a phone line, cell phone, or Internet access, MedMinder has an internal cellular modem to connect with the monitoring station.

MedMinder allows as many caregivers to connect as you want. And if you want to add more caregivers, you can just simply add them. There is no extra charge for having more than one caregiver. You can simply visit the secure website and add the additional caregiver(s) information, which will then be able to set their notification preferences.

Convenient & Uncomplicated

Many older adults who live independently are on complicated drug regimens, typically taking more than five pills a day. With MedMinder you have the convenience of refill trays that make refilling the pill dispenser easy.

You can fill the tray yourself or you can pay a small fee to have the MedMinder Pharmacy to refill trays making refilling the pill dispenser more convenient and reduces the possibility of medication errors.

The MedMinder pill dispenser holds up to four weeks of medications depending upon the number of dosages each day. Two dosages each day means MedMinder can hold two weeks of meds.

And MedMinder also allows Caregivers to record voice messages at the MedMinder portal and your loved one’s MedMinder pill dispenser will play them so he or she will hear a familiar voice.

Custom greetings can be set as medication reminders, positive feedback, or even one-time personalized messages for special occasions. Caregivers can also type a personalized message that MedMinder converts to voice format.
